Using the Photos

Dear Readers,

I tried to disponibilize the pictures on their original size. However, I noticed that the blog itself reduces it when I upload them. Therefore, anyone that wants any of the pictures on their original size, 15Mpix, in raw or any other format, just ask me that I can send it throught e-mail.

Animated Gif using Puppet Warp - First Try

Well, I have just discovered that I can use gifs on my G+ wallpaper, so I gave it a try.... this is my first attempt to make an animated gif from a single image... it's not great, but I wanted to share.

For this one, I used the puppet warp feature on CS5 and created only 2 images from that, that's why the quality is not so good. For the next, I intend to create at least 4-5 intermediate images, to the fading is not gonna be so strong.

Enjoy.

Timeline Wallpapers - Experiments

Hi there! I was making some experiments with these photos, what do you think about them?

Ubatuba is a city in Sao Paulo, Brazil, but the earth picture that is in there is of Africa, as you can see.... I couldn't find a good picture of earth and the south america, so I decided that it didn't matter. I could perhaps take the Ubatuba out of the pic....I don't know, you tell me!

Enjoy, use and abuse....

Timeline Wallpapers

So folks, I will post now some wallpapers for your timeline or G+ profile background. I have tried to make both really nice, specially because I like G+ a lot, but the 940x180 is just too wide for my taste. Anyway, if you are searching for some backgrounds, check these out!

Timeline

This one is from some time ago, when I was taking pictures from dying flowers. I really like the range of colors and textures... I made those only for Timeline, since the one for G+ was too wide and I didn't like it very much.

And this one if from a hiking I was doing close to Santiago, Chile, during summer!!

And then, this one from the Jewish Cemetery in Prague.

A bit of everything that I saw in Prague...

And some old photo that I had taken and I decided to transform in this one... pretty cool huh?

I'll soon post more, I have some other that I would like to make into wallpapers and I think they would be pretty!

For now, enjoy!

Ultra Mega high Saturation.... :)

So, this one is from a pretty color-boring plant that I found while in London (I'm not sure, but I think the place was called London Garden) and I decided to take a picture because the shape was nice..... then, while fooling around with the saturation and vibrance, I discovered that there were pretty colors hidden, let's say, :)

Please leave your comments, they are well appreciated and needed for me to improve my work!

Thank you.

Beautiful Eyes

As you might have noticed from some older posts, I do like taking indirect photos using other objects as mirrors.... int this one I've used my girlfriend's eyes, that I find to be beautiful, and I've tried to bring the reflected images in them back to life.... on the first one we were inside a greenhouse in the London Gardens (I guess that's the name of the place) and, on the second one, we were at the Praia Grande (big beach) in Ubatuba, Brazil....

What do you think about these ones? I honestly like the second one best.... :)

Flowers Wallpapers

So.... from the top, I found these flowers in London, again, and I was stunned by their color diversity, I had never seen it before.... they were hard to access, but I gave a try and shot! :) I'm pretty happy with the results.... a bit os post processing, just darkening it and a tiny bit of sharpening.

For the last one, I have always liked taking pictures of leaves against the sunlight (or lack of one, in London)... I will be posting more soon!

Please leave comments! Also, I am thinking of making Facebook Timeline-size wallpapers of my photos and post here! I just don't know where to start, so please let me know, :) It will be well appreciated.

Enjoy.
